If you believe in "The Feel Good Town", you've come to the right place.
WE BELIEVE in the right of assembly.
As part of our rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, we have the right to come together as a community and discuss the issues that affect us all. The meetings are open to the public and will not be sponsored by any government entity, public or private group, or other entity.
This principle was voted on with very strong approval at the Citizen Town Hall held on Nov 1, 2023
WE BELIEVE in the right of free expression.
As part of our rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, we have the right to express ourselves freely and voice our concerns in public. Although we accept limitations when it comes to criminal law, we recognize that those who disagree have the right of expression, but not to suppress.
This principle was voted on with very strong approval at the Citizen Town Hall held on Nov 1, 2023
WE BELIEVE in everyone's right to vote.
As part of our rights under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, we have the right to vote on issues that directly impact us. This not only includes official elections, but on issues put forward on a platform that has an acceptable method of putting valid motions forward and measuring votes.
This principle was incorporated into the model for the Citizen Town Hall held on Nov 1 2023

The issues facing our community have impacted businesses of every type. Business owners are vital to our community and need to be involved and listened to as part of the solution.
