Your council.
Your call.
Seventeen candidates. Seven seats. Pick the issues you care about, scout every candidate, and build the council you'd put on the ice.
- 1Pick the three debate topics that matter most to you.
- 2Flip each candidate's card: see their yes/no debate answers and watch their opening statement.
- 3Fill the board — mayor, deputy mayor, five councillors — and see where your picks agree.
After you play, see the community's stats and results.
Every certified candidate is shown equally, in alphabetical order. Positions come only from the 2026 YourTV debates. Your issue and council picks are counted anonymously to show community results — no names or contact details are collected. Our web host also collects basic performance data.
What matters to you?
These are the topics the moderators asked about at the debates. Pick three.
Pick 3 issues first, then your council opens.

How your council lines up
Here are your picks' own yes/no answers from the debates. Candidates for council were asked different questions than candidates for mayor and deputy mayor, so each table compares only the people who were asked.

How to voteThe races
Every candidate ranked against the others in the same race, by how often players put them on their boards. Incumbents are the seven sitting members of council; Change is everyone else.
A random sample this size would be accurate to within about ±5 points. Players here choose to take part, so treat these as community picks, not a forecast.
The final countdown
The council players are predicting, built from every board in the game, with the issues driving it and how many players head to the polls.

TURNOUT
The predicted council is the most-picked candidate for each seat on players' boards. It counts people who played the game, not Cobourg voters, and is not a poll. "Clicked vote link" counts clicks through to the Town's How to vote page, not ballots cast. After 8 p.m. Monday the board is shown beside the official results.
